Hickory Cottage is a warmly decorated one-bedroom cottage. A functionally cozy 500 square-feet with open kitchen, dining, and living area. Light floods from windows on all sides. Work indoors or outdoors on the covered porch and deck. Enjoy the analog pleasures of assorted vinyl LPs on the record player and the small library featuring several Florida-centric authors and subjects. Modern conveniences include air conditioning, fiberoptic wifi and a washer/dryer behind the house. Hickory Pond is a short walk where where one can enjoy the large dock, dock house, and a variety of birdlife and wildlife. In the evening, watch hundreds of bats emerge from the bat house while the frogsong fills the air. Immerse yourself in nature as the modern condition is left behind.
